Privacy, in plain language.
We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, investment account or registration to view the page or vote.
Preferences in this browser
Your light or dark theme preference is saved in the browser’s local storage until you delete it. The language is chosen by the page address: English pages start with /en and Spanish pages with /es.
Voting
To reduce repeat voting, the server creates a random browser identifier in a necessary cookie protected from script access. It can last for up to 30 days. The database stores a cryptographic hash of this identifier, the selected opening, vote direction and time; it does not store your name.
A temporary cryptographic hash of the network address and attempt minute limits abuse. Application code does not store the original IP address in that table. Rate-limit records expire within 24 hours. Individual votes are removed after 90 days by the maintenance routine. Hosting infrastructure may process technical logs under its own policies.
Visitor statistics
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read and how visitors arrive (for example from search or a shared link). Google may set cookies for this. We see only aggregated statistics, never your name. You can block it with Google’s opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or your browser’s cookie settings.
Advertising
This site shows ads served by Google (Google AdSense). Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or at www.aboutads.info. Google’s policies are described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Who runs this site
Up or Down BR is operated under the Up or Down BR brand. For privacy questions or requests, email chooselifecreations@gmail.com. Because we do not ask for a name or registration, we can only locate votes through the browser identifier, so the deletion control below is the most direct route.
Other services and your choices
The page uses your device’s system fonts, so it does not need to request fonts from an external service. Links to B3 and other websites open only when you follow them. Those destinations have their own policies.
You can request deletion of votes linked to this browser’s identifier using the control below. Blocking or deleting cookies may allow a new identifier and does not guarantee removal of technical records held by the hosting provider.
